We run about 12 shows a year. The majority of these are Beginners Shows. These are mostly entry level shows designed to introduce young dogs and new handlers to competition. Courses are very straightforward, there are no weaves or seesaw. Dogs may jump lower than their usual height. Training rounds are welcome but handlers may also compete with a toy in their hand. They are held in one ring in the indoor school and we can shut the gate to make the ring completely secure.

In the winter we run shows which are open to all dogs of all grades where the courses are more challenging. Again training rounds are welcome.

In 2020 we hosted the first Forever Agility Tournament to raise funds for the Forever Agility charity.

UPCOMING SHOWS:

Sunday 24th March 2024 – Jumps & Tunnels – FULL

Sunday 14th April 2024 – Jumps & Tunnels

Monday 27th May 2024 – Jumps & Tunnels

Jumps & Tunnels – for dogs in grades 1-2 all heights. Lower height option available. 3 classes. Aimed at new dogs and handlers or dogs needing confidence. You may compete with a toy in your hand but no food.

We place to 6th in each category Small, Medium and Intermediate/Large.

LOWER HEIGHT POLICY

As announced on Facebook we will now be offering a lower height option at our shows but NOT to intermediate/standard dogs. The reason for this is that under the original KC system Intermediate were classified with large but could compete over the lower height option of 55cm. Under the new KC system all the jump heights have been lowered and the intermediate category introduced but all other heights of dog (small, medium, large) that used to compete at the lower height option are now jumping 5cm higher than previously whereas the Intermediates are now jumping 5cm lower.

If you would like your dog to compete at lower height at our shows please put LH after your dogs name on the entry form.
